Silent Pool Rosé 2023 is an elegant, fresh, classically pink-hued still rosé wine made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes with a little Chardonnay. Subtle red berry and bright citrus aromas on the nose are followed by fresh summer flavours of strawberries and cream, peach and pink grapefruit on the palate.

The wine is balanced by clean minerality and crisp acidity, with a long mouth-watering finish. Ideal as a summer aperitif and al fresco dining.

Acidity in the wine means it’s a perfect match for fresh, citrusy fish dishes - try local Tillingbourne trout with a lemon and crème fraiche dressing and grilled English asparagus. Soft, creamy English cheeses alsopair well with the crisp acidity and subtle red fruit of the wine. Take care not to overpower the delicate summer fruit flavours of this delicate rosé – light chicken, English lamb and roasted vegetable dishes are good food matches.
